Real, per-capita expenditures have grown 31.8% since 1993, or $564 for every South Carolina resident.Real, per capita expenditures peaked in Fiscal Year 2007, just prior to the onset of the Great Recession. During the 21 year period, real, per capita spending on Instruction increased 14.6%. Spending on Administration increased 33.1%. Spending on Debt Service increased 57.0%. Finally, spending on Land and Facility Construction increased 104.8%.
